In an effort to better serve residents, the City of Lewisville rolling out MARTY in December 2016.
MARTY stands for Mobilizing Area Resources To Your Neighborhood. The idea grew out of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan as part of the “Thriving Neighborhoods” and “Marketing & Communications” Big Moves. The main purposes of MARTY are to increase civic and community engagement, encourage more participation by residents, and educate residents on City services.
During each date that MARTY is scheduled to be out in the community varying services will be available along with representatives from city departments to answer questions and assist residents. Each MARTY stop will last about four hours, or until all visitors are helped.
Have questions about MARTY or want to schedule a deployment to an event or neighborhood? Contact Kent Boring, Community Outreach Specialist, 972.219.3740 for all the details.
