Coworkers, clubs, faith organizations, and youth groups are the core volunteer teams that help power For the Love of Lewisville. Groups may participate in a variety of hands-on service projects across the city, including moving dirt or digging, raking leaves, trimming trees and hedges, mowing and weeding, washing windows, general cleaning and sweeping, removing debris, and painting. These projects support homes, neighborhoods, parks, and other community spaces.
Groups that include youth are welcome to participate. To ensure a safe experience, a minimum ratio of 1 adult for every 5 youth volunteers is required, with closer supervision recommended for younger children depending on the activity.
