View our GIS map online and input your address to determine your collection day for trash, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste. All services are provided on the same day of the week.

Residents are required to have the recycling cart placed at the curb or alley collection location by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. Collection containers should not be set out for collection more than 24 hours prior to the collection date and should be removed from the collection point within 24 hours of collection date.

The only holidays that affect pickup are Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Service is pushed back one day i.e. If Christmas falls on a Monday, then houses normally serviced Monday are serviced Tuesday, Tuesday houses are serviced Wednesday, etc.

 

Accepted in the Recycling Cart:

• Metal Containers: Food, beverage and soft drink cans made of tin, steel or aluminum; all metal cooking pots, pans and utensils
• Glass Containers: Unbroken food and beverage containers that are clear, brown or green in color
• Paper Products: Flattened cardboard, magazines, office paper, newspaper, paperboard like paper towel rolls, cereal boxes, phone books, junk mail
• Aseptic Packaging: Milk cartons, juice cartons, juice and drink boxes without the straws
• Plastics (updated): Plastic bottles and containers with #1 - #7 resin code (excluding expanded polystyrene)

Unacceptable items in the Recycling Cart:

• Plastic bags (grocery, bubble wrap, dry cleaning, etc.)
• Metal/Plastic coat hangers
• Shredded paper
• Hardcover books
• Styrofoam (expanded polystyrene)
• Rigid plastics (buckets, storage containers, etc)
• Garden hoses/cords
• Mirror/Auto glass
• pizza boxes
• yard waste
• Pipes (metal or PVC)
• Electronics
• Clothing
• Hazardous Waste

City recycling drop-off sites can be used by residents and small businesses to recycle various materials. All of the materials accepted in curbside recycling carts can also be put into the drop-off recycling dumpsters. These sites are in case you have more recycling than will fit in your cart. These sites are available 24/7 year round.

Use drop-off containers correctly:

• No household hazardous waste materials may be left inside or outside the drop-off recycling containers.
• No Styrofoam, yard waste, construction materials, products containing liquids, products made of multiples materials, power tools, electronics, etc. are to be placed in the recycling dumpsters.
• Keep lids and doors on containers closed to prevent littering.
• If the container is full, do not set materials outside the dumpster. Visit one of our other drop-off locations.
• No shredded paper, please.

Items such as TVs, computers, small appliances, and cords should not go in your recycling bin. You can bring them to our monthly hazardous household waste events instead.

Verizon Device Recycling Program	This site provides information on recycling basic cell phones, smart phones, tablets, and other Verizon devices to receive a credit on your Verizon Wireless bill or a Verizon Wireless gift card. Donors also have an option to donate their device to support domestic violence victims.

STOP ILLEGAL DUMPING!

Commercial recycling is encouraged, but is not currently franchised. Commercial establishments may arrange for recycling with any legitimate recycling company based on the type of materials they wish to recycle. Proof that materials are being recycled must be provided to the City upon request.
