The Environmental Compliance Division supports the performance of the Water and Wastewater Divisions. They protect and preserve the environment by performing laboratory and process analyses.

The water and wastewater laboratory serves the environmental needs of the City of Lewisville and its citizens. The laboratories perform over 70,000 analyses annually to ensure a safe drinking water supply and a clean environment for our customers.

Our water laboratory is NELAC-accredited to analyze Total Coliform and E. Coli.  Tap or well water may be tested for bacteria by the laboratory for $29 per sample.
