The Lewisville Police Department is made up of three bureaus.

The Support Bureau is commanded by Assistant Chief Bill Wawro and includes Criminal Investigations, Community Support Operations and Special Operations.

The Operations Bureau is commanded by Assistant Chief Donald Fulbright and is staffed by two Captains during the Alpha (First and Second Watch) and Bravo shifts (Third and Fourth Watch). 

The Administrative Services Bureau is led by Commander Elizabeth Mayes and includes Dispatch, Records, Jail, Property/Evidence, Administrative Analyst, Crime Analyst and the Research & Development/Accreditation Sergeant.
