Social Service Grants
The City of Lewisville uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and General Fund money to purchase services from nonprofit agencies serving Lewisville residents.

Heart of the City and the Farmer's Market Food Pantry are expanding food pantry services to meet the growing hunger crisis in North Texas. The Pantry Power initiative will establish new locations, increasing reach to fight food insecurity by providing nutritious food packages in new areas. On average, each food package serves a family of around four people. It typically includes 20 to 25 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with essential proteins and grains. |
