Neighborhood Enhancement Program

Neighborhood Enhancement Program (“NEP”)  is a reimbursable grant that supports a partnership between the City of Lewisville and neighborhoods by providing grants for projects that aim to:

  • Improve neighborhood public spaces;

  • Beautify and benefit the community;

  • Provide positive long-term impact in the community;

  • Nurture a shared sense of neighborhood identity and/or community pride

Who Can Apply?

  • Homeowners Associations

  • Neighborhood Watch Associations

  • Neighborhood Associations 

How much funding is available

  • The maximum funding for a single project is $12,500

The neighborhood is required to match $1 to every $1 the city contributes: Neighborhood Match can include the value of: cash raised; service or material donation value; volunteer labor (sweat equity): hours can include: research, filling out application, volunteer hours, meetings etc.… per person at the current volunteer labor rate is $28.54/hour
