Lewisville Valley 1 Neighborhood Reconstruction
Project Description
The Lewisville Valley 1 Neighborhood Reconstruction Project consists of street replacement, sidewalk replacement, installation of new water and sanitary sewer lines, drainage improvements, alley reconstruction, and ADA improvements within the Lewisville Valley 1 neighborhood. The primary goal of this project is to enhance safety, improve utility service and street conditions, and preserve the neighborhood's character.
The scope of the full-street reconstruction project includes
- street pavement replacement
- sidewalk replacement
- new water and sanitary sewer line installation
- alley reconstruction
- ADA improvements
- drainage improvements
Streets included in the North side of the neighborhood:
- Grove Drive: Old Orchard Lane to Valley Parkway
- Grove Court: Grove Drive to end
- Juniper Lane: Old Orchard to Grove Drive
- Knollridge Drive: Old Orchard Lane to Grove Drive
Streets included in the South side of the neighborhood:
- Forestglen Drive: Pine Bluff Drive to Old Orchard Lane
- Evergreen Drive: Alley west of Pine Bluff Drive to Old Orchard Lane
- Dogwood Trail: Evergreen Drive to Old Orchard Lane
- Cherry Hill Lane: Alley west of Applegate Drive to Old Orchard Lane
- Beechwood Drive: Applegate Drive to Old Orchard Lane
- Beechwood Place: Beechwood Drive to End
- Applegate Drive: Cherry Hill Lane to Old Orchard Lane
Project timeline:
Project surveying will continue through late 2026. The project is in the conceptual design phase, which will be complete in mid 2027. Two rounds of public meetings will be scheduled with the north and south neighborhoods to receive resident input. Introductory public meetings will be held in mid and late 2026, with conceptual design public meetings held in early 2027.
