The success of Western Days is largely dependent on volunteers working behind the scenes to ensure a positive festival experience for everyone.

Volunteers are needed to fill a variety of roles at the event, ranging from logistics and set up, to working the festival gates and assisting with festival attractions such as the Padrino Foods World Tamale Eating Championship.

Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt, as well as complimentary tickets to the festival for both days. A variety of shifts and tasks are available to work with any schedule, and match up with just about any skill set.

We are not accepting volunteers for the 2026 event, but you can use this link to register as a volunteer for future events.

2026 Western Days festival dates and times are Friday, Sept. 25, 4-11:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 26, Noon-11:30 p.m.
