Insurance Requirements

Certificate of Insurance adding City of Lewisville as Additional Insured is REQUIRED for all vendors unless specifically excluded. Vendor categories include vendors who:

• Provide own tent. (You have the option to rent a tent for an additional fee.)
• Sell products - all artist/exhibitors, food vendors, food exhibitors, plus any other vendors with product sales
• Have a prize wheel, corn hole game, arts & crafts, or similar interactive exhibit at your vendor space that engages with the public
• Provide hands-on services like face painting, temporary tattoos, etc.

 The insurance requirement does not apply if:

• Vendor is NOT providing own tent AND
• Vendor is only engaging with the public verbally, or with informational displays, printed materials and promotional items

Vendors have the option to provide their owner pay insurance certificate or pay $65 to be added to the City's insurance, if eligible.

If you have two (2) or more paid employees (other than yourself/spouse/owner) working the event, Workers Compensation Coverage is required. You are not eligible to purchase insurance coverage from the City of Lewisville if Workers Compensation is required.

Artist/Exhibitor 

To qualify for this type of vendor, all products and items for sale must be handcrafted, hand-stitched, homemade or manufactured by applicant or applicant’s representatives. No food or beverages can be sold or given away at the vendor booth. All vendor fees include 110v/20 amps power. Vendors are responsible for their own tent, tables, chairs; tents can be rented for an additional fee.

Non-Profit

To qualify for this type of vendor, vendors must have and be able to present a valid, 501c(3) or 501c(6) certificate designating them as a non-profit organization, or they need to be affiliated, with proof of affiliation, with an established national non-profit organization. All vendor fees include 110v/20 amps power.   Vendors are responsible for their own tent, tables, chairs; tents can be rented for an additional fee.

Food Vendor - Concessions

Food Product Exhibitor/Sampler

To qualify for this type of vendor application, vendors are NOT serving as concessionaires, but are sampling pre-packaged food items such as beef jerky, salsas, barbecue sauces, seasonings, etc. No beverages can be sold or given away at the vendor booth. Vendors shall not be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages in the temporary booth per TABC regulations. All vendor fees include 110v/20 amps power. Additional power can be purchased.

Eco Alley

Eco Alley is an area of the event with an environmental focus, bringing a touch of Earth Day to the celebration.  Eco Alley exhibitors/vendors must provide educational information, demonstrations, or presentations with an environmental theme. Themes may include energy, air quality, water, solid waste/recycling, and similar topics.  All vendor fees include 110v/20 amps power. Vendors are responsible for their own tent, tables, chairs; tents can be rented for an additional fee.
