City Council Meetings
City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month unless the meeting falls on a recognized holiday at which time the meeting will be held the next Monday. Meetings start at 7 p.m., unless otherwise posted on the agenda*. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at Lewisville City Hall, 151 W. Church Street, Lewisville, TX 75057

Council Overview
Lewisville is a Home Rule City and operates under a council-manager form of government. The City Council consists of a mayor and six members. The Council is elected at large and serves three-year terms.
The City Council is the legislative and governing body of the City. In accordance with City Charter, the Council enacts legislation, adopts the annual operating budget and is responsible for setting policy. The City Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the City and implements policies set forth by the Council.
