The 2018-19 budget season is in full swing and city staff would like to know how you would balance the budget.  Check out the Balancing Act online budgeting simulation tool to allocate funds with the goal of obtaining a balanced budget. The tool will be available through August 8 and the results will be presented at the Annual Budget Workshop on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Become a "Friend of the Lewisville Animal Shelter" and help the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in its efforts to find new homes for adoptable pets and to educate pet owners on how to care for their beloved animals.

Monetary Donations

Your gift will help save the lives of animals in Lewisville, providing shelter and care, medical treatment and adoption.

100 percent of your donation goes to support homeless and abandoned animals who find themselves in the care of the City of Lewisville.

The approximate cost for animals upon intake is $25 and up.

The approximate cost to prepare an animal to be available for adoption is $25 and up.

Special medical care and needs costs vary but can range from $100 and up.

The approximate cost to feed the shelter animals on a daily basis is between $40 - $60.
