Hike and Bike Trails

The City of Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing a variety of recreational opportunities to its citizens that are safe, enjoyable, and promote good health. One major aspect of that is the bicycle and walking trails for public use. Paths are designed for a mix of walkers, joggers and cyclists and offer routes from place to place around the parks and throughout the city. For information, you may call the department administration offices at 972.219.3550.

Please observe hike and bike trail etiquette when enjoying the trails:

  • Be friendly and courteous
  • Share the trail: ride, walk and run on the right; pass on the left
  • Bicyclist yield to runners and walkers. Keep your bike under control and at a safe speed
  • Alert other trail users when passing
  • Leave no trace. Pick up your litter (and a few pieces left by others too)
  • Dogs must be on a leash and under control. Pick up your pet's waste. *No pets allowed at LLELA.
