Just a reminder about temporary street closures for the funeral procession of Lewisville Fire Chief Tim Tittle. The closures will start this morning, Friday, Jan. 24, at McGee Lane at First Baptist Church of Lewisville, head south down Old Orchard, Valley Parkway, FM 3040, Edmonds and into Coppell. A flyover of multiple helicopters will start the procession.

Citizens are encouraged to line the route to pay tribute to Chief Tittle and his family. Timing of street closures will be from around 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Drivers should plan accordingly and consider alternate routes.

Electric, Water and Natural Gas Consumption Reporting Requirement

The following information is in accordance with House Bill 3693 which requires governmental entities to report aggregate costs for gas, electric and water services on their publicly accessible internet website.

The City of Lewisville purchases electricity from GEXA Energy and CoServ. In calendar year 2019, the City purchased a total of 31,956,458 kilowatt hours.

The City purchases natural gas from CoServ and Atmos Energy. In calendar year 2019, the City purchased a total of 6,797.79 MCF of natural gas.

The City purchases propane from Northwest Propane. In calendar year 2019, the City purchased a total of 329.6 gallons of propane.

The City purchases water from Dallas Water Utilities. In calendar year 2019, the City purchased a total of 5,504,604,000 gallons of water.

The total cost of electricity, natural gas, propane and water purchased by the City in the calendar year 2019 is $7,546,138.88.
