ColorPalooza: A Celebration of Spring will feature a wide variety of exhibits and interactive events with a “spring feel” for the whole family. Visitors will get to show off their artistic abilities, watch skilled artists create one-of-a kind artwork, marvel at and create colorful sidewalk chalk art, and learn how to better care for the Earth and make their homes more environmentally friendly. There also will be emphasis on interactive events for children, including inflatable play structures and creative arts and crafts stations.
Vendor Deadline: Friday, March 16, 2018
Last year, ColorPalooza sold out of vendor space. As a result, vendors are encouraged to submit applications early.
Vendor space is not open to corporate vendors (banks, insurance companies, etc.)
To qualify for this type of vendor application, vendors are serving as concessionaires. This vendor type includes food trucks. Vendors shall not be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages in their booth.
To qualify for this vendor type, all products on display and/or items for sale must be handcrafted, hand-stitched, home-made or manufactured by applicant or applicant’s representatives. Examples include paintings, sculpture, pottery/ceramics, textile arts, photography, hand-carved items, handmade jewelry, beadwork, upcycled materials, mosaics, hand-sewn quilts, crafts, leatherworking, metalworking, stained glass, glass blowing etc.
To qualify for this type of vendor, vendors must have and be able to present a valid, 501c(3) or 501c(6) certificate designating them as a non-profit organization, or they need to be able to show affiliation with an established national non-profit organization. No food or beverages can be sold or given away by the vendor unless the vendor’s primary business is food & beverage sales, and they have been permitted by City of Lewisville as a food & beverage establishment. We encourage our non-profit organizations to host an arts & craft activity at their booths to reinforce the theme of the festival.
Eco Alley exhibitors/vendors must provide educational information, demonstrations, or presentations with an environmental theme. Promotional items are encouraged, but should be items that support reducing waste and promote conservation of natural resources. Themes may include energy, air quality, water, solid waste/recycling, product stewardship, and similar topics.
To participate as this type of vendor, please contact Mendie White at 972.219.3503 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
