Jeremy Leonard has been employed with the City of Lewisville as the Director of Court Services since January of 2021. Jeremy grew up in the Dallas Fort Worth area and is a graduate of Alvarado High School in Alvarado, Texas.  After high school, Jeremy received his bachelor's degree from Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, TX and his Masters in Organizational Leadership from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

After college, Jeremy had the privilege of beginning work as a Deputy Court Clerk for the City of Venus where he fell in love with the Municipal Court system. After gaining valuable experience and training, he went on to work for the municipal courts in Burleson, Fort Worth, DeSoto and now Lewisville.  In total, Jeremy has had 20 years of experience working in various sized Texas Municipal Courts. 

In 2017, Jeremy became the 75^th Level III Certified Municipal Court Clerk through the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and Texas State University.

Jeremy is also a member of the Texas Court Clerks Association where in 2014, he was awarded the “Distinguished Service Award” and in 2020 was awarded the “Extraordinary Achievement Award”.  Jeremy has also served as a Director at Large for the TCCA state board since 2019.
