City offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. All essential City services will continue to operate. Residential garbage and recycling collection will not be affected. The Lewisville City Council meeting regularly held on the first Monday of the month will instead be held on Monday, Sept. 14.
The City Attorney is appointed by the City Council to be the legal advisor of, and attorney and counsel for, the city and all officers and departments thereof. Accordingly, the City Attorney does not provide legal advice to the public. The City Attorney's Office also oversees prosecutors in the Municipal Court.
Ms. Plaster holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University, as well as a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas. She has more than 29 years of government experience. Ms. Plaster has been with the City of Lewisville since 2005. She began as an Assistant City Attorney and was appointed as City Attorney by the City Council in 2010. She is a member of the Denton Bar Association and the Texas City Attorney’s Association.
