To spread the word about animal adoption and to help these loving animals find fur-ever homes, the City of Lewisville will feature a Pet of the Week each week in this media packet, available for adoption at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 995 E. Valley Ridge.

This week’s featured pet is Mr. Worldwide, a 2-year-old male Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Much like the famous musician with the same name, our Mr. Worldwide (Mr. 972) is very active. He took staff on a fun and wild ride when he first came to the shelter. He needs a family that can take things slow with him, then branch out into exciting outdoor adventures.

As the musician says, “Passion, patience and perseverance equals success.”

Mr. Worldwide is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized.
