City to begin accepting applications

Public Infrastructure Funding
Post Date:May 08, 2026
The City of Lewisville is now accepting applications for 2026-27 Public Infrastructure Funding.

This application is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies or government entities with eligible 'brick and mortar' projects benefiting low-to-moderate income Lewisville residents. Proposed projects should not include social services provided to residents.

Application deadline is Friday, May 22 at noon. Applications are available on the Community Development page at cityoflewisville.com.

Public Infrastructure projects should provide support to Lewisville and its residents through physical infrastructure acquisition, design, development, or repairs. Previously funded Public Infrastructure projects by the City of Lewisville include nonprofit building expansion design and construction, playground equipment and installation at a local city park, and concrete and street repairs to a residential street and sewer system.

Interested applicants are encouraged to review the City of Lewisville's 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan as well as Chapter 3 from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development's Basically CDBG on National Objective. Both documents will provide critical insight into eligible projects the City of Lewisville is interested in seeing proposed for this NOFA. Staff are available for consultation on the eligibility of projects and federal requirements before, during, and after the application process.
