City boards, commissions, and committees

Post Date:April 10, 2026
The Lewisville City Council is currently accepting applications for appointments to City boards, commissions, and committees.

Lewisville residents are eligible to serve on any of the 11 active boards or committees.

The application deadline is Friday, May 1. Appointments are planned to be considered by the City Council prior to its Monday, June 15, meeting.

Applications are submitted to the Council prior to upcoming appointments and as vacancies occur during the year and are retained by the City Secretary for the period of one year.

The City encourages interested residents to attend meetings of the boards they might be interested in serving on prior to submitting their application. Interested residents also are welcome to meet with any City Council member and express their desire to serve the community in any of these capacities.

Any interested resident can apply online through the “Boards & Commissions” page at cityoflewisville.com.
