Living in the Metroplex makes it difficult to get hometown news on a daily basis, so the City of Lewisville is doing its best to keep you informed through several avenues.

This page will allow you to see what we send to the media, whether it makes it into print or not. The city publicizes projects, programs, achievements, safety tips, ordinances, Council actions, public notices, special events, and much, much more through News Releases.

LVTV broadcasts on channel 1016 on the Astound Broadband system, and channel 15 on Frontier Cable system, features a great lineup of award-winning original programs along with public meetings and timely announcements about city events and operations.

Free Christmas tree mulch

Free Christmas tree much will be available at Lewisville Lake Park soccer fields (near Lake Park Road and North Mill Street), through Saturday, Jan. 31. The mulch is suitable for use in yards, gardens and flower beds, walkways, around trees and shrubs, or for livestock bedding.

The program is sponsored by Keep Lewisville Beautiful (KLB) and Lewisville Parks and Recreation. For information, call KLB at 972.538.5949 or PARD at 972.219.3550.
