Living in the Metroplex makes it difficult to get hometown news on a daily basis, so the City of Lewisville is doing its best to keep you informed through several avenues.

This page will allow you to see what we send to the media, whether it makes it into print or not. The city publicizes projects, programs, achievements, safety tips, ordinances, Council actions, public notices, special events, and much, much more through News Releases.

LVTV broadcasts on channel 1016 on the Astound Broadband system, and channel 15 on Frontier Cable system, features a great lineup of award-winning original programs along with public meetings and timely announcements about city events and operations.

2026 Texas Tunes season

Lewisville Grand Theater is now selling tickets for the 2026 Texas Tunes season are now on sale.

  • The Tejas Brothers will kick off the season on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 8 p.m., in the Huffines Performance Hall
  • Jazzmeia Horn takes the Huffines Performance Hall stage at the Lewisville Grand Theater on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 8 p.m.
  • Sunny Sweeney takes the Huffines Performance Hall stage at the Lewisville Grand Theater on Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m.
  • Shelley King takes the Huffines Performance Hall stage at the Lewisville Grand Theater on Saturday, April 11, at 8 p.m.
  • Lee Roy Parnell takes the Huffines Performance Hall stage at the Lewisville Grand Theater on Saturday, May 16, at 8 p.m.

The Texas Tunes concert series features performers from music halls and festivals throughout the state who present great music in a variety of genres, but all with that unique Texas flair that has made the state a hotbed for fans of live music.

The Grand is Lewisville's home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Please be aware that heavy construction at the Main Street intersection with I-35E could cause traffic delays.
