Water meter program

Post Date:August 29, 2025

The City of Lewisville introduces “My Water Advisor 2.0,” a new system that allows residents to monitor their water usage in real-time through a mobile app and online portal.

Water is our most valuable natural resource. The City is making this change to protect that resource by cutting down on water losses, reducing unauthorized water consumption, and improving meter accuracy.

Residents will need their water bill to create an account and register online at mywateradvisor2.com. After doing that, they will need to download the mobile app from the Apple or Google Play stores.

The City has posted a video on its YouTube channel to help residents with the registration process.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Real-time Monitoring: Residents can track their water usage with up-to-date data and identify trends over time.
  • Leak Detection: The system can alert users to potential leaks, enabling them to address them quickly and prevent water waste and high bills.
  • Usage Insights: Residents can set goals, compare their water usage, and make informed decisions about conservation.
  • Billing Awareness: The system provides a clear view of water consumption, helping residents stay informed about their water bills.

The implementation of the My Water Advisor 2.0 program supports the “Sustainability” Big Move of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The full plan can be viewed online at cityoflewisville.com/lewisville2025.
