Living in the Metroplex makes it difficult to get hometown news on a daily basis, so the City of Lewisville is doing its best to keep you informed through several avenues.

This page will allow you to see what we send to the media, whether it makes it into print or not. The city publicizes projects, programs, achievements, safety tips, ordinances, Council actions, public notices, special events, and much, much more through News Releases.

LVTV broadcasts on channel 1016 on the Astound Broadband system, and channel 15 on Frontier Cable system, features a great lineup of award-winning original programs along with public meetings and timely announcements about city events and operations.

Come back often and find out what’s new in the City of Lewisville.

Centennial Library Card

Post Date:July 25, 2025
In celebration of the Lewisville Centennial, the Lewisville Public Library is offering a limited-edition Centennial Library Card.

Patrons visiting the library in-person to open a new account will be issued this new card. Existing cardholders may swap their current card for the Centennial card for $1.

Swapping the current card for the new Centennial card will mean the patron will have a new card number. Patrons are encouraged to ask a library staff member what this means before making the switch.

The Centennial Library Card is available while supplies last.
