About the Artist
Yoonsoo Nam's art is a reflection of worship-an offering of color, movement, and spirit. With each brushstroke, she seeks to capture the unseen, translating faith into a visual language that invites viewers into a sacred encounter. Her work is an expression of gratitude, prayer, and praise, revealing the beauty of God's presence in both the visible and invisible.
Through abstraction, she hopes to stir the soul, inspiring others to experience the divine through art.
Yoonsoo Nam holds a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts from Ewha Womans University, as well as a Master of Divinity from Seoul Jangsin University. Recognized as the Poet Laureate of the City of Lewisville from 2022-2024, she has showcased her work in 20 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. Beyond gallery spaces, she collaborates with gallerists and interior designers, bringing her distinctive artistic vision to diverse environments. NAMYOONSOOART.COM
This exhibition runs from August 22-Sept. 19 in the Education Hallway Gallery. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and evenings when there are other public programs scheduled in the building.
The Education Hallway Gallery at the Lewisville Grand Theater is open to the public Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and during public events. Exhibitions are always free to visit.
To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
