The Second Annual Great Big River Care is our biggest volunteer cleanup of the year, and we need your help!
After a busy summer season, it's time for a hard reset to restore the health of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Join fellow volunteers in removing litter, discarded fishing line, and other debris that can harm wildlife, pollute our waterways, and diminish everyone's outdoor experience.
Whether you're an angler, paddler, hiker, birder, or simply someone who cares about protecting our natural spaces, this is your chance to make a lasting impact. Together, we can improve wildlife habitat, create a cleaner river for visitors, and demonstrate the environmental stewardship that keeps LLELA thriving for future generations.
Buckets, trash bags, and litter grabbers will be provided. Gloves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, as this is not a drop-off event.
