ALED is a 12-week, evidence-based program designed specifically for adults who are inactive or managing chronic conditions such as arthritis. What makes it special is that it’s not a traditional exercise class, it teaches participants how to safely and confidently build movement into their everyday lives.
Beginning June 11, participants will meet once per week at Thrive to:
• Learn practical strategies to increase daily movement
• Set realistic, personalized goals
• Overcome common barriers like pain, fear of injury, or lack of motivation
• Build accountability and social support
• Create take-home activity plans they can continue long after the program ends
This program is especially impactful for individuals who may feel hesitant about traditional fitness programs but want to improve mobility, independence, and overall well-being. We truly believe this program can make a meaningful difference in helping older adults feel more confident, connected, and active.
