The Special Events division manages all major citywide special events, including the popular Western Days festival, Holiday Stroll, Sounds of Lewisville summer concert series, and Keeping Tradition Alive Jam Session with firefighter bagpipes and drum corps. These activities are funded through a combination of Hotel-Motel Occupancy Tax (HOT) designated by the state for tourism operations, and event sponsorships or revenue.

Sounds of Lewisville: Desperado Eagles Tribute

Free summer concert series

The popular and FREE “Sounds of Lewisville” concert series returns to Wayne Ferguson Plaza Tuesday nights in June and July from 7-9:30 p.m.

The opening act will take the stage at 7 p.m. followed by the headliner from 8-9:30 p.m.

Headliner: 2018 People's Choice Award winner Desperado Eagles Tribute 

Opening act: Summer of '69 Bryan Adams Tribute

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed. Food, beer and wine will be sold on-site. Parking and street closure information will be available closer to the event.
