Special Events & Festivals


The Special Events division manages all major citywide special events, including the popular Western Days festival, Holiday Stroll, Sounds of Lewisville summer concert series, and Keeping Tradition Alive Jam Session with firefighter bagpipes and drum corps. These activities are funded through a combination of Hotel-Motel Occupancy Tax (HOT) designated by the state for tourism operations, and event sponsorships or revenue.

Rocktober Halloween Bash!

Free concert, trick-or-treating and kids' activities

Bring the family to Old Town Lewisville for the Rocktober Halloween Bash!

Trick-or-treating at Old Town Lewisville businesses and kids' activities take place from 5-7 p.m. Le Freak, the greatest disco band in the work, takes the Wayne Ferguson Plaza stage at 7 p.m.

Food and drinks will be sold on-site.Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs due to lawn seating.
