Spring Sustainability Series: Backyard Berry Gardening
Monday, April 16, at 7 p.m.
Bennett Program Room

Join us for a series of family-friendly “green” workshops presented in partnership with Science With Attitude (SWAt), an outreach project of Texas AgriLife Extension in Denton County. Learn how to cultivate a backyard berry patch, discover the basics of beekeeping and bee-friendly yards, and create “plantable” greeting cards from seeds and recycled newspaper. These programs are geared towards upper-elementary children through adults, though all ages are welcome. Registration is required. Registration for individual workshops will open two weeks before each class. Call 972.219.3779 to register.
