I. ELIGIBILITY
· Males and Females Ages 5 – Adult
Age Groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-39, 40 & up
Age groups are determined by the swimmer's age as of June 1, 2009.
· Any swimmer age 14 and under, registered with USS swimming for 2009 will be ineligible to participate
· Swimmers must be able to easily swim one (1) length of the pool (25 yards) without stopping.

II. COSTS
· $87.00 per swimmer / Lewisville Resident
· $96.00 per swimmer / Non-resident
Optional costs:
· Team pictures (package pricing TBD)
· Team Swim Suit
Refunds:
Swimmers withdrawing prior to May 15, 2009 at 5:00 PM will receive the following refunds:
· Lewisville residents: $77.00
· NON-residents: $86.00
T-shirts issued at are not returnable. Any swimmer withdrawing after the May 15th deadline will receive NO refund.
III. WORKOUT SCHEDULES
Monday-Fridays
8yrs and under 9:00am-10:15am All workouts are held
9 & 10 years 8:00am-9:15am at the Sun Valley Pool
11 & 12 years 7am-8:15am
13 & 14 years 7am-8:30am
15 and over 6am-7:15am
Adults 7:30pm-9:30pm
IV. SWIM MEETS
· The “WAVE” will compete in four circuit meets and the regional meet.
· Meet dates are: June 13, June 20, June 27, and July 11-12.
· All meets will include two or three other City teams. The All-Region meet is the exception. At the All-Region meet held on July 11-12, we will compete with all teams in TAAF region IV. ALL team members are encouraged to swim in the All-Region meet.
· The State Swim Meet will be held in San Antonio, Texas on July 24-26. Swimmers who medal at the All-Region meet will qualify for the State Swim Meet.
· Swim Season ends on July 26th for the swimmers qualifying for State – July 13th for those that do not

V. REGISTRATION
· All new swimmers must bring a copy of their birth certificate or driver’s license at the time of registration. All registration fees are due at the time of registration. PALS offices: 1197 W. Main Street (same building as the Library)
· Restricted Registration (Lewisville residents ONLY) - $87.00
March 23, 25 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM, PALS offices (LEWISVILLE RESIDENTS ONLY)
March 24 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM, PALS offices (LEWISVILLE RESIDENTS ONLY)
· Non-Resident Registration begins on March 26 - $96.00
March 26 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM, PALS offices
March 27 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, PALS offices
March 28 10:00 AM -12 NOON, PALS offices
· PLEASE NOTE that Age-group sizes will be limited! Once limit(s) have been reached, all others will be placed upon a waiting list(s).
VII. TRANSPORTATION
No transportation is to be provided by the PALS Department. Team rosters will be provided to team members after registration is completed. Swimmers and their parents are totally responsible for any and all carpool arrangements.
