Age Groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-39, 40 & up
Age groups are determined by the swimmer's age as of June 1, 2012.

Any swimmer age 14 and under, registered with USS swimming for 2012 will be ineligible to participate
Swimmers must be able to easily swim one (1) length of the pool (25 yards) without stopping. This is not a swim lesson class. All swimmers must be registered by May 25 to be able to participate on the team.

II. COSTS
$90.00 per swimmer / Lewisville Resident
$102.00 per swimmer / Non-resident

Refunds: Swimmers withdrawing prior to May 25, 2012 at 5:00 PM will receive the following refunds:

Lewisville residents: $87.00
NON-residents: $99.00

Any swimmer withdrawing after the May 25th deadline will receive NO refund.

III. WORKOUT SCHEDULES
All workouts are held at the Sun Valley Pool
Monday-Fridays

8 yrs and under	8:45 am-9:45 am
9 & 10 years	7:45 am-9:00 am
11 & 12 years	7:15 am-8:30 am
13 & 14 years	6:15 am-7:30 am
15 and over	6:00 am-7:00 am
Adults	7:30 pm-8:30 pm

IV. SWIM MEETS
The “WAVE” will compete in four circuit meets and the regional meet. Meet dates are: June 9, June 16, June 23, June 29, and July 14-15. All meets will include two or three other City teams. The All-Region meet is the exception. At the All-Region meet held on July 14-15, we will compete with all teams in TAAF region IV. ALL team members are encouraged to swim in the All-Region meet. The State Swim Meet will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 27-29. Swimmers who medal at the All-Region meet will qualify for the State Swim Meet.
Swim Season ends on July 29 for the swimmers qualifying for State – July 15th for those that do not.

V. REGISTRATION
All new swimmers must bring a copy of their birth certificate or driver’s license at the time of registration. All registration fees are due at the time of registration. Registration will take place in three locations:
1) Parks & Leisure Services office: 1197 W. Main Street (same building as the Library) (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
2) Frederick P. Herring Recreation Center: 161 Civic Circle Dr. (8 a.m. to close)
3) Memorial Park Recreation Center: 1950-B South Valley Parkway (8 a.m. to close)
Restricted Registration (Lewisville residents ONLY) - $90.00

March 26-28 8:00 am - close (PALS Office closes at 5 p.m., both recreation centers remain open until 9 p.m.)

Non-Resident Registration begins on March 29 - $102.00
March 29 - 30 8:00 am - close (PALS Office closes at 5 p.m., both recreation centers remain open until 9 p.m.)

Registration will continue on March 31 through May 25 during the normal operating hours of the PALS Office and each recreation center.
