DUTIES OF THE BOARD:
This Board shall meet quarterly to review and update, at least annually, the City's Master Thoroughfare Plan and any requested amendments, variances and appeals of staff interpretation to the Thoroughfare Plan or thoroughfare standards. The Board shall also set priorities on transportation projects including traffic signal locations, and intersection improvement locations. This Board also reviews issues and provides recommendations regarding existing or proposed thoroughfare plans which may be presented by City staff or by direction of the City Council. The Board will also handle other transportation issues as directed by the City Council.
