Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market

May 2 - October 3
The Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market, a seasonal open-air forum for Denton County and North Texas-grown products, will be from May 2 through October 3. The market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Old Town Lewisville. Vendors still are being sought to sell fresh produce and similar items at the weekly market. For information about the Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market call 972.219.3401.

The city’s annual Independence Day event will be held on Saturday, July 4. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. The best viewing areas will be on the South side of Vista Ridge mall and along the Highway 121 Bypass. For information please call 972-219-3401.

Annual Labor Day Rodeo
Lewisville Saddle Club
Labor Day Weekend
The City of Lewisville and the Lewisville Saddle Club host the Annual Labor Day Rodeo each year during the Labor Day holiday. This professional rodeo includes bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, a women's breakaway roping, tie down calf roping, steer wrestling, team roping, women's barrel racing, junior barrel racing for children 12 and under, bull riding along with a calf scramble for children 10 and under and mutton busting for children 8 and under.
The Lewisville Saddle Club started in 1962 and has a proud tradition of being a family oriented organization promoting horsemanship and sportsmanship. The club is a member of the American Association of Sheriff's Posses and Riding Clubs, competing with other Saddle Clubs throughout Texas. The Saddle Club hosts 13 open Playdays a season, with classes for all age groups. Though highly competitive, it is always friendly and riders of every level are welcome.

Sounds of Lewisville Fall Concert Series
Every year families and friends gather on Tuesday evenings in the fall to enjoy great musical entertainment. Plan to bring the family and enjoy some of the area's best bands under the stars of Lewisville. Weekly concerts include a variety of bands from funk to rock to polka music. At each concert donations will be accepted that will benefit local animal rescue groups. For more information please click here
Each night a local rescue group will be on site with information on the organization and will have bottled water for a $1 donation per bottle.
Vendor applications are now being accepted for the Sounds of Lewisville Concert Series. Applications are available for food vendors, not for profits, arts and crafts vendors, or businesses. Any food vendors interested in participating, please call for a list of approved foods.

Western Day Festival

Find the cowboy in you at Lewisville's annual Western Day festival in Old Town Lewisville. Bring your family to this western event, designed to showcase Lewisville's rich history. Festival stages will showcase live country music and entertainment while festival-goers partake in the unique arts and crafts vendors, gunfight re-enactments, trick ropers, Tailwaggers Ranch, antique car show, national tamale-eating championship, and longhorn cattle drive. Family fun doesn't stop there with additional children's activities including a petting zoo, children's playland area, facepainters, sketch artists, TootallTex, and more. Holiday at the Hall
Old Town Lewisville

The seventh annual Holiday at the Hall festival will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, in Old Town Lewisville, featuring a wide range of free family events from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m. Since its inception, this award-winning festival has grown into a fascinating winter wonderland of holiday ambiance and spirit of the season. More than 15,000 people attend the yearly celebration, which was named the best special event in the country in 2003 among cities with similar population by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association. The festival includes local favorites such as the Holiday Lights! Old Town Lighting, Polar Ice Carving Village, Breakfast with Santa, a parade down Main Street, live entertainment, strolling entertainment, visits with Santa Claus, and the annual Motorcycle Toy Run. HEARTS & ROSES BALL
Each year the City of Lewisville Parks & Leisure Services plans this fun evening for all Princes, and Princesses ages 4–13, accompanied by their Kings and Queens (parents or guardians) to the Hearts & Roses Ball! The Hearts & Roses Ball is a combination of the former Daddy and Daughter Dance and the Mother and Son Black Tie Social to make it an event for all.
