Sounds of Lewisville Concert Series Related Areas

The "Sounds of Lewisville" concert series was started in 1991 by Lewisville Parks & Leisure Services as a free summertime family entertainment option at the Vista Ridge Amphitheater. The series later added a shorter run of fall performances and eventually moved to Old Town Lewisville. Past performers have included some of the top musical acts in North Texas, including Grammy winners The Dixie Chicks and Brave Combo (a three-time selection as the People's Choice winner for the Sounds series). Now coordinated through the Community Relations & Tourism Department, the concerts will move to the courtyard of the new Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater in 2011. What will not change is the quality lineup of free weekly concerts that can be enjoyed by the entire family. The 2012 list of performers will be announced soon.
