SIGN FEES

 

A permanent sign permit fee and plan checking fee shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule:

  1. Permit Fee Schedule Based on Sign Area
  2. 0 - 50 $ 38.75

    51 - 100 $ 48.50

    101 - 200 $ 68.00

    201 - 300 $ 87.25

    301 - 400 $ 106.50

    401 - 500 $ 135.50

    501 - 600 $ 193.75

    601 - 700 $ 300.25

    701 - 800 $ 465.25

    801 - 900 $ 519.00

    901 - 1000 $ 804.00

     

  3. Banner Sign permit fee is $25.00. Banner signs up to fifty (50) square feet shall be permitted and used for grand openings, owner or management change, and the advertising of special events. Banner signs are allowed for a maximum period of thirty (30) days per time, four (4) times per year, per use. A banner shall be installed no more than thirty (30) days prior to the event and removed within five (5) days of the completion of the event.

  4. A plan checking fee shall be charged in an amount equal to one-half (1/2) of the sign permit fee on all illuminated signs with a display surface greater than one hundred (100) square feet.
  5. All fees shall be collected prior to the issuance of any permit.
  6. Balloons and Deflatable Sign permit fees and time limitations – the permit fee is twenty-five ($25.00) dollars for balloons and inflatable signs for each time period they are placed in use. The time period shall be limited to fourteen (14) days with a twenty (20) day period between uses. The number of times used shall not exceed eight (8) times per year.
  7. Weekend Directional Sign permit fees are ($50.00) fifty dollars per builder or real estate sales office. Permits shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance, except in the event a permit is revoked.
