Residential Convenience Center 330 W. Jones Street (click here for a map to the facility) Open Second Saturday of the month 9:00 a.m. until Noon (Driver’s license required for proof of residency) |
| Lewisville residents now have a new permanent collection center for disposing of hazardous household products and electronic wastes. Residents can drop off these materials on the Second Saturday of each month – that’s twelve times a year! The average household has three to ten gallons of materials that can be hazardous to human health or the environment. These products should never be improperly disposed of by pouring down the drain, on the ground, into the storm drain, or into the trash because they can contaminate surface water, septic tanks, or even the wastewater treatment system. Each of us must take responsibility for how we take care of this place we call home. We want to help you do the right thing for our environment! Mark your calendars now for Second Saturdays -- See you soon! If you need additional information about the Residential Collection Center or any of the City’s environmental programs, please contact the Environmental Programs Office at 972-219-3503. |
