Opening of Steve H McFadden Law Enforcement Center
The Lewisville Police Department has opened its new jail at 1187 West Main Street. The Steve H McFadden Law Enforcement Center is located right next door to the previous jail, with its front entrance and citizen parking now facing Main Street. The front desk of this new jail will be used for filing police reports, obtaining tow slips, bonding people out of jail, making after hours water payments-anything that used to be handled at the front desk of the main Police Department building. If you enter the lobby and no one is at the front desk, press the intercom button by the door for assistance. The lobby of the Police Department (184 North Valley Parkway) will now only be used for those wanting to obtain copies of police reports, those personally contacting a specific officer, and those requesting fingerprinting services. |
