Old Town Maps & Guides
Definitions of Old Town vary widely. For a long time Lewisville residents, considered Old Town as the area ranging from six blocks from Charles Street to Kealy Avenue and from Church Street to Elm. For others, Old Town is the area west of Interstate Highway 35 and north of State Highway Business 121.
The City of Lewisville spent considerable time and effort gathering statistical data on Old Town to define what has become known as the Old Town Design District. This area is bound by College Street to the north, Purnell Street to the south, I35 to the west and Railroad Street to the east. While “Old Town” encompasses more than this designated area, the Old Town Design District serves as a starting point for a focused and coordinated revitalization effort.
