The Lewisville Crime Watch Board is currently reaching out to Neighborhood Crime Watch Coordinators in the City of Lewisville to encourage participation in Neighborhood Crime Watch at the City level by joining the LCWB.

The LCWB is comprised of volunteer Coordinators of various Neighborhood Crime Watch Groups in Lewisville. We are making a difference in our community by educating residents on crime prevention, helping to organize effective local Neighborhood Crime Watch Groups, and supporting local Code Enforcement. Our goal is to make Lewisville a safer community and a more enjoyable place to work and reside.

We meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Lewisville Police Station to share ideas on Neighborhood crime prevention, help each other on crime and code enforcement related issues, jointly develop ways to “get the message out” and interact with the Lewisville Police Department. Captain Deaver of the LPD is a regular attendee of our meetings and acts as liaison between our citizen organization and the LPD. We also work closely with the LPD Neighborhood Resource Officers.

If you struggle for access to crime prevention related information and best practices to share with your neighborhood, or if you are looking for support in getting the attention of the City for crime or code enforcement related issues in your neighborhood, or if you just want to share ideas with other Neighborhood Crime Watch Coordinators, participation in the Lewisville Crime Watch Board could be for you.
