Lake Park Lake Park is a massive park containing in excess of 662 acres. It is located along the Lake Lewisville shoreline just east of Mill Street; approximately three-quarters of a mile east of I-35. Lake Park is operated by the City on property leased from the Army corps of Engineers. In can be divided into three major areas including the Lake Park Golf Course, the athletic facilities, and the lake related uses. The lake related uses with their campgrounds, beaches, docks, boat ramps and picnic facilities attract many people from all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. Athletic Facilities: 8 lighted soccer fields 8 lighted baseball fields 2 adult lighted softball fields 2 lighted football fields The athletic facilities also include areas for parking, two playgrounds, three restrooms, four concession buildings, and three picnic shelters/shade structures.
