Lenard L. Woods Park The namesake for this park is a distinguished man, Lenard Levosha Woods, or LL Woods, Lewisville, Texas' first African-American City Council member. M. Kaser & Associates, Inc. worked with City staff to tell Lenard's story and created an outdoor display so all park visitors would know Lenard's legacy. The printed finished display presents many family photos, official City news, and a timeline of Lenard's life from 1920 to his death in 1973. LL Woods Park is 31 acres adjacent to the north side of Prairie Creek with a multitude of facilities. Park Amenities:
