How do I obtain a copy of a police or accident report?
Copies of police and accident reports are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Police Department Records windows. The Police Department is located at 184 N. Valley Parkway (northwest corner of Valley Parkway and Main Street across from the Burger King).

In order to obtain a copy of an accident report, one must complete a form providing any two of the following three items: Location of accident, Name of a person involved, or the Date of the Accident.

Police crime reports are considered an ‘Open Record’ and portions are available to anyone upon request free of charge provided the report does not exceed 30 pages.
