Friends of the Library The Friends of the Lewisville Public Library (Friends) is a volunteer group that provides support to the library. Individual, family, and business memberships are available at various levels. Please contact the Friends of the Library at friendsofthelpl@gmail.com. MEMBERSHIP

The Friends of the Lewisville Public Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. The Friends of the Library members work to raise funds to benefit the Lewisville Library. Gifts from the Friends of the Library have helped purchase Summer Reading Club supplies, various collections throughout the library, furniture, computers, programs for youth, teens and adults, as well as staff training and education. The Friends organization has been awarded two Verizon Foundation grants for books, media and technology for the new library. They have also received grants from Target, SAM's Club, and Wal-Mart.
