Certification Classes: Are you Interested in becoming a participating Loan Officer/Realtor with the program? Contact us for information about the next available certification course to become approved to work with the program. NO fees are required to attend. Certificates expire after one year. Registration is required. On-site office/team training is available for 10 or more. Certification classes are generally held the first Tuesdays of the month from 10 am to 12 noon at either of the following locations:

Homebuyer Education Classes (Homebuyers Only) In an effort to contribute to long-term, sustainable homeownership, the City of Lewisville's First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program partners with Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) of Dallas and community professional sponsors to host a H.U.D.-approved homebuyer education class for all interested first-time homebuyers. Regardless of whether you want to participate in the City of Lewisville's First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program (FHAP participants are required to attend an 8-hour HUD-approved class) or you just want to learn about how to buy a home, we welcome everyone! Professionals from the mortgage, real estate, and insurance industries will be present to introduce their roles and services in the process and answer any questions about the home buying process. All classes include free HUD-approved Certificates of Completion of the 8-hour class. Classes are open to the public and are for interested homebuyers.
