Electric, Water and Natural Gas Consumption Reporting Requirement

The following information is in accordance with House Bill 3693 which requires governmental entities to report aggregate costs for gas, electric and water services on their publicly accessible internet website.

The City of Lewisville purchases electricity from Direct Energy and CoServ. In calendar year 2011, the City purchased a total of 31,623,276 kilowatt hours.

The City purchases natural gas from Atmos Energy. In calendar year 2011, the City purchased a total of 5,258.7 MCF of natural gas.

The City purchases propane from Northwest Propane. In calendar year 2011, the City purchased a total of 2,661.0 gal. of propane.

The City purchases water from Dallas Water Utilities. In calendar year 2011, the City purchased a total of 7.606,342 gal. of water.

The total cost of electricity, natural gas, propane and water purchased by the City in the calendar year 2011 is $8,360,579.65.
