PATROL OPERATIONS
Officers Speak to Students.

On May 18th, Hedrick Elementary School hosted a Career Day for 3rd through 5th grade students. Officer Shane Menz and his canine partner, “Immo,” visited with the students, as did Officer Cindy Coyle. Broken up into four sessions, the officers spoke to a number of students. Both spoke about a career in law enforcement and how to achieve their career goals. Additionally, the students were able to observe “Immo” and ask Menz questions about a day in the life of a Police K-9 Handler. Officer Menz hopes that the students enjoyed the opportunity as much as he did.

Creekside Elementary recently hosted a bicycle rodeo. Officers Joel Baker and Greg Stern participated in the event, teaching the students the importance of following traffic laws and wearing bicycle helmets.
