City Manager
I wish to extend to you a warm welcome to our Lewisville web page. Our plan is that our web page will function as a "virtual" city hall. A site that will allow citizens, visitors, businesses, and potential developers a "one stop place" to contact officials and staff members, find information about ordinances, events, and schedules, and provide the information needed by businesses and individuals considering a move to our wonderful city. Most importantly, this web page is designed to deliver services and information to you in the same friendly, efficient, and effective manner you can expect at our "real" city hall.
I also wish to remind you that this page is only one of several ways to get information about what is going on in your local government. We also provide information through cable programming that can be found on City Cable LVTV. Our schedule of programs includes information from the Parks & Leisure Services Department, the Police and Fire Departments, and the Public Services Department. We also have a show hosted by Mayor Gene Carey and an Old Town Update program that will keep you up-do-date on revitalization efforts. City Council and P&Z meetings are replayed on LVTV also. Please check the program guide on this web site.
As a resident, you will also receive The Horizon city newsletter every two months with information about city program, special events and other important news.
We hope that the information provided through our "virtual" city hall is responsive to your needs. We plan to continue to build and improve this site in the future. If you have a suggestion to improve our web site, please feel free to contact James Kunke, Community Relations & Tourism Director. Thanks for visiting!
