Lewisville has an abundance of space to meet the needs of a variety of business activities with several business parks ranging in size from 50 acres to 500 acres strategically located throughout the City.

Lewisville has consistently held one of the lowest combined effective property tax rates in the Metroplex. In addition, Lewisville offers Triple Freeport Tax Exemption, which allows local authorities to exempt taxes on goods that have been acquired in or imported into Texas to be forwarded out of state within 175 days.

The State of Texas has no state property tax, no personal income tax, no corporate income tax and no worldwide unitary tax.

Lewisville has a streamlined, one-stop-shop development review process, designed to simplify and fast-track new projects. Information is distributed to each of the departments involved in reviews. Upon completion of the review, all information is returned to the one-stop permit window. Staff review of the various applications is speedy and coordinated.

The City of Lewisville offers a variety of economic incentives to help position Lewisville as the most economical city in North Texas. Economic incentives offered by the City of Lewisville include, but are not limited to, tax abatements and tax rebates.
