Duties:The Corporation is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation specifically governed by Chapter 431 of the Texas Transportation Code authorizes creation of a Local Government Corporation (“LGC”) to aid and act on behalf of one or more local governments to accomplish any governmental purpose of those local governments. The Corporation is organized exclusively in order to be prepared for economic development situations, which may arise.
