KLB offers free light bulbs, announces Yard of Month winners
Keep Lewisville Beautiful has awarded the June resident Yard of the Month winner to landscaped yard located at 983 Regency. The June business Yard of the Month winner is the property of the Lewisville Medical Center, located at 500 W. Main St.
KLB is looking for Yard of the Month nominations for May. Nominees should be identified by address only. All nominations must be in by the 20th of each month. Photos of each property will be displayed on www.keeplewisvillebeautiful.org by the 25th of each month. Votes may be submitted by email, fax or phone from the 25th of each month to the last day of the month. All winners will be posted on the website at the beginning of each month.
Local electrical provider First Choice Power is opening its newest storefront in Lewisville and has teamed up with KLB to bring energy efficiency to the residents of Lewisville.
First Choice Power is awarded Keep Lewisville Beautiful with a $2,000 grant for the purpose of sharing with Lewisville residents. The funds will help enable KLB in a program to reduce electrical costs, usage and wattage city wide.
Keep Lewisville Beautiful is giving away multipacks of CFL light bulbs to Lewisville residents on a first-come, first-served basis as long as supplies last at the KLB office, 189 Elm Street, Suite 106. Those picking up bulbs need to provide a Lewisville drivers license and a water or electric bill to show proof of residency for a free 8-pack of CFL light bulbs. One pack will be issued per household.
